Homework:
Twitter
Create a Twitter account. Email me your handle. Create a list of at least 10 people related to your beat that are worth following. (If you’re doing a sport, have no more than three athletes/coaches/teams on your list.)
Install Tweetdeck. (If you’re already using Hootsuite and prefer it, let me know.)
Post at least 15 tweets related to your beat over the course of the week. Use the hashtag #jr408. (Tweets should be spread out over the week.)
Blog
Blog 1 – 2 – Write two blogs (related to your beat) using only social media for your reporting. Get original reaction/perspective from your audience in at least one post. At the end of the post, briefly track how you found and reported this piece. Do not post more than one per day.
